Sky Muster Plus is just around the corner and will be available on the 9th of August 2019. Many eager Sky Muster users will soon be able to enjoy unmetered web browsing, unshaped network traffic for operating system updates and burst download speeds of up to 50 Mbps.
At the moment at IPSTAR Broadband we have 50 customers who are trialing the Sky Muster Plus service with us and they have been very helpful in creating the product and the service that our customers will soon have access to experience for themselves. One satisfied customer during the trial sent us a message saying “So far in my view this is the best service you have offered by far, absolutely wonderful experience using the sky muster plus. Billion times better then what I was using couple of weeks ago.” But that’s not all; we have also received other positive comments about the service from our trial base so far, with many happy customers. What we learnt from the trial period, was that once a customer experienced Sky Muster Plus, they simply didn’t want to go back to the old way of doing things on a regular Sky Muster plan.
*Note: Not all content listed above is unmetered. There are some restrictions on video and audio data usage. Please see our [wd_hustle id=’sky-muster-plus—things-you-should-know’ type=’popup’]”Things you should know”[/wd_hustle] for a list of metered content on nbn Sky Muster Plus.
The real benefit to our customers from this service is that a household is able to do simply much more on a Sky Muster Plus plan than they would previously have been able to on the old Sky Muster plans. Here’s one way how.
One household signs up to regular Sky Muster and they have 100GB of Data, there are two children who both go to school and one of the parents runs a business from home. On the 13th day of the month, their data runs out as the two kids have used it all watching Disney movies on Stan. On the 14th day of the month, it becomes hard for their parent to access websites needed to run their business or for the other parent to pay their bills and even access their bank account. In addition to this, the kids aren’t even able to do their homework online or load websites like Wikipedia without considerable frustration. This is because the service is shaped until the end of the month when the data resets and the household gets another 100GB. Much frustration is caused for the family.
Another household signs up to Sky Muster plus and they have 100GB of data. There are two children who both go to school and one of the parents runs a business from home. On the 13th day of the month, their metered data runs out as the kids have used it all watching Disney movies on Stan, from now until the data resets, metered video data such as Stan or Netflix will be shaped. On the 14th day of the month, the parent is still able to run their business, send emails and browse the web. The other parent is able to come home and access their bank account and pay their bills. The children are also able to come home, do their homework and read anything they like on Wikipedia. The unmetered web browsing that only comes with a Sky Muster Plus plan helps this family to simply do more with their data in a month compared to a similar family on a regular sky muster plan, plus this family avoids all the frustrations that occur when data runs out.
