The holidays are about to begin and that means that the kids will be at home and they’re going to be using the internet a lot more. They’ll be catching up on the latest videos on Netflix or YouTube and playing some of the newest video games over the holidays. This also means they’ll be using a lot more data!

Now is the perfect time to upgrade your nbn Sky Muster service to nbn Sky Muster Plus. The unmetered data will be a major advantage during these holidays allowing you to keep using the internet for basic web browsing even when the metered data has run out.

Another reason why upgrading to Sky Muster Plus in time for the holidays is a good idea is that all IPSTAR Broadband Sky Muster Plus customers will receive an extra 20GB of additional peak data allowance these school holidays. Our customers will be receiving the first 10GB in December 2019 and then a second 10GB in January 2020.

Netflix on average uses about 3GB per hour on HD video quality so with this extra data you’ll be able to get just over 3 hours of extra video content these holidays. More than enough to watch a movie on Netflix and have a bit to spare.

The holidays are getting closer each day and now is the perfect time to switch to Sky Muster Plus!

  • The additional 10GB bonus data provided in December 2019 will expire on 31 December 2019. The additional 10GB bonus data provided in January 2020 will expire on 31 January 2020. This means that if the bonus data is not exhausted in either of those months, there is no roll-over to the following month.
  • New nbn™ Sky Muster™ Plus Ordered Products activated on any given day during December 2019 or January 2020, will still receive the full bonus data allowance of 10GB for each month, regardless of the day the service was activated.
