Families With Gamers Will Be Happier With IPSTAR Broadband nbn Sky Muster Plus

IPSTAR Broadband nbn Sky Muster Plus has been a major improvement to the internet experience of our customers who are now able to do more online than they ever could in the past when compared to standard nbn Sky Muster. This is especially true if you live in a family that has a gamer.

Have you ever been in the situation where a family member went and downloaded a game online and then the whole family had no data for the rest of the month? Now, your internet has been slowed down for the rest of the month so you are now unable to do your everyday critical browsing, leaving you very frustrated. You would either have to buy data packs which can be quite expensive or wait it until your data reset. This no longer has to happen to you and your family.

How will my family be happier with IPSTAR Broadband nbn Sky Muster Plus as gamers?

We will demonstrate this using an example of two fictional families who both happened to purchase two video games digitally this month and both downloaded the games. Michael’s family is on standard nbn Sky Muster and Charlotte’s family is on IPSTAR Broadband nbn Sky Muster Plus. They both pay the same price of $65 per month. Charlotte’s family has faster internet than Michael’s with up to 25/5 Mbps for the same price.

Final Fantasy VII and Animal Crossing are two very popular games at the moment and in both families these games were highly requested as ones to add to the library. Both families decided to purchase them. Final Fantasy VII was downloaded on the PS4 and Animal Crossing on the Nintendo Switch.

With IPSTAR Broadband nbn Sky Muster Plus, downloading video games is unmetered and does not count towards your monthly data allowance and that also includes game updates. So, Charlotte’s family still has 100GB of metered data left after downloading both of these games. With Michael’s family, even though he had more data than Charlotte’s family did in the beginning, with 175GB for Michael’s family compared to Charlotte’s 100GB, Michael’s family ends up far worse off and with 21.8GB less data than Charlotte’s family has in the end. Even though both families did exactly the same thing and paid the same amount of money.

What can Charlotte’s family do with the extra data that Michael’s family doesn’t have?

Assuming that both Michael’s family and Charlotte’s family did everything else the same that month and all activities such as social media, web browsing, video streaming were the same. Michael’s family would run out of data first, their standard nbn Sky Muster connection would be slowed down and doing anything online will become frustrating, or they would have to purchase more data. For Charlotte’s family, as they are on IPSTAR Broadband nbn Sky Muster plus, if they wanted to, they could actually delete both Final Fantasy VII and Animal Crossing which they downloaded and download them both again and still have 100GB of data remaining, which is something Michael’s family simply could not do. His family just doesn’t have enough data to do that.

With the extra 21.8 GB Charlotte’s family could watch an extra 21 hours of Netflix (on SD) which Michael’s family wouldn’t be able to do.

Charlotte’s family could also video call anyone in the world on Facetime or Zoom without using any data at all and listen to Spotify day and night which also won’t count towards their data. These activities don’t count towards your data at all on IPSTAR Broadband nbn Sky Muster Plus. Find out more about unmetered video calling here and unmetered music and audio here.

Is IPSTAR Broadband nbn Sky Muster Plus for me?

If you are in a family filled with people who like to buy single player games and these games also have frequent downloadable updates. Then you would be a lot happier if you switched to IPSTAR Broadband nbn Sky Muster Plus as you could basically remove video game downloads from your data usage completely and just like Charlotte’s family, you’ll have the data available to use on exciting things like watching Netflix or other video streaming applications, listening to music or video calling your friends and family.
